DB architects required SAPs and a sustainability/energy statement for the development of 9 new apartments. The proposed development demonstrated commitment to providing an environmentally sustainable development, ensuring dwellings will have thermally efficient building fabric, energy efficient design measures and includes various energy efficient technologies.
The emissions and energy consumption has been designed to fall comfortably below the 2013 Parl L1A Building Regulation requirements. In addition to this, the design demonstrated that conversion of the dwellings meets the maximum permissible fabri U-value requirements according to Part L1B.
