The aim of this credit is "To recognise and encourage buildings designed to minimise operational energy demand, consumption and CO2 emissions."
To meet compliance with this credit you will need to
undertake Part L Calculations by a Suitably Qualified Energy Assessor who is registered and licensed to undertake commercial energy assessments for commercial projects (SBEM), or residential energy assessments for multi-residential project or a project where residential dwellings are present (SAP) .
You will be required to produce an EPC as part of your evidence requirements for BREEAM.
SBEM/Part L Calculations

SAP/Part L Calculations
Our head energy energy assessor has 25 years experience of energy assessment and is licensed and registered to undertake simple SAP calculations right through to advanced SAP calculations for large dwellings.
EPC
