Using some of the latest speed survey equipment to gather data, Encon Associates can provide the very best in accurate surveying. Using radar speed gun technology we can undertake all types of speed survey anywhere in the country.
Fully trained in the use of the hand held devices, Encon Associates can quickly undertake speed surveys to support your planning applications and gain approval for your development.
For highways with greater volumes of traffic we can install an ATC to gather 24 hour data, 7 days a week. The inductive tube system records the speed and type of vehicle passing over the tubes and is especially useful where local authorities require comprehensive, robust data for the calculation of 85th percentile speeds.
Encon Associates can then provide a 'Report of Findings' suitable for submission to the planners and provide analysis of the data to calculate the required 'visibility splays' for the development.
