Encon Associates were appointed to carry out a suite of services for Long Stratton Medical Centre, located in the Norwich area. These services include a BREEAM Assessment, VoC Testing, Acoustic Assessment, Sustainable Procurement Plan, Nesting Birds Survey, Building User Guide, Security Needs Assessment, Travel Plan, BREEAM Ecology
The original surgery was constructed in 2004, and an extension was created for this surgery to support the existing patients’ needs that are designed to the NHS’s current space standards.
The proposed works included a full refurbishment of the existing facility to bring the existing clinical accommodation in line with the current NHS standards and provide additional and enhanced consulting and treatment space to continue to provide a service for the expanding local community.
Land to the rear of the current premises is available to accommodate a small extension to both the building and the on-site car parking.

Encon Associates were knowledgeable and very supportive to Bouygues UK in resolving the issues relating the BREEAM certification relating to the retail units at Abbey Road Barking.
They were involved from the start in obtaining the necessary information from the consultants, produced the Green Lease documentation for the shell and core retail units and resolved the final outstanding issues which the BRE required in a timely manner.
All round performance very good.
