The aim of this credit is "To promote working from home by providing occupants with the necessary space and services thus reducing the need to commute."
To meet compliance with this credit you will need to undertake daylight calculations to ensure compliance to minimum daylight factors for the room that is designated as the home office.
With our Daylighting Calculations service, our building simulation team will prepare a 3d computer model of your building to enable a dynamic simulation which will determine the daylight factors based on your design, should the daylight factors be unsuitable or non compliant we can advise and value engineer if required. All our simulation engineers are Code for Sustainable Homes qualified and are therefore perfectly positioned to advise on Code based credits.
