It is a requirement for Building Regulation compliance that an energy assessment is carried out to demonstrate Part L compliance prior to Building Control sign off.
Often local authorities require a minimum reduction in CO2 emissions over and above Building Regulations from either improvements in fabric efficiency and OR the use of Low or Zero Carbon Technologies.
Energy Assessment
Encon Associates are able to undertake Dynamic Simulation Modelling to determine reduction in CO2 emissions and report to the Local Authority accordingly, or undertake energy assessments at design stage and as built stage and provide advice on Part L compliance to ensure that Building Regulation compliance is complied with.
In more complex buildings a DSM (Dynamic Simulation Model) is required due to the complexity of the building.
We are fully qualified level 5 energy assessors using the latest Dynamic Simulation software to undertake detailed modelling and assessment.
Additional Services
We provide a number of services specifically designed to help mitigate commonly required planning conditions, support pre-application requirements, planning conditions, and planning objections and refusals.
